Mexico

I truly appreciate the warmth, history and the true culture of Mexico. I have been fortunate to have visited many areas of Mexico and enjoy sharing my passion and expertise.

Cancun - The American/European Mexico. This area caters more to the more modern Mexico travelers with all of the features that would be expected of a warm beach destination. Great hotels with lots of dining and lounges. Fun shows and shopping. Excellent water activities and nature experiences.

Riviera Maya, Playa del Carmen and Tulum - This is the more southern region of the Cancun area. A little further ride from the airport but lots of great hotels to choose from. The towns of Playa and Tulum are wonderful for shopping, dining and evening bar hopping.

Playa del Carmen is where you will find the ferry port for a trip over to Cozumel.

Cozumel is just quick hop flight or ferry ride away from Cancun through Playa del Carmen and an easy day trip to take in incredible snorkeling and diving. It is also a laid back island to stay at with a fun vibe in town by day or night.

Isla Mujeres is the island to the north of the Cancun area and near Playa Mujeres hotels with a quick ferry ride to spend a great day. Shopping, dining, driving golf carts around, and one of the most amazing beaches in all of Mexico, Playa Norte!

To the west are the Pacific coastal locations of Cabo San Lucas, Puerto Vallarta and Mazatlan. Each and every one are unique in their own way.

Cabo San Lucas/Los Cabos is the northern most destination. The marina area offers fun shopping, nightlife, dining and the only section that has safe beach swimming. Great deep sea fishing area and whale watching in season.

Mazatlan is truly old world Mexico and the Shrimp capital of the world. If you like history, tradition and seafood, then this is the area for you!

Puerto Vallarta is the mountain area to me. It also has a great Melecon for dining, shopping and nightlife. It has the beauty of both beach and mountains.

Memorable European family vacation to celebrate a

Prior to selecting a travel agency to work with on our European vacation, we personally met with Monique to be sure she had the expertise we were looking for. We are a family of 5 (husband/wife/2 adult children and mother) traveling to Germany to celebrate a relative's 80th birthday. Throughout the planning process, Monique was very attentive and responsive to our numerous emails and telephone calls. During the planning stage, we made several changes to the itinerary and she provided updated pricing quotes promptly. A suggestion we have for A1 Travel partners in Europe is to provide specific detail about where to board a ferry (Rhine cruise with Koln Dusseldorfer boards at Pier 4 in Bingen), nearest parking lot for tours, etc. Details that can save the traveler time and energy. Having reserved tickets for various tours/concerts before leaving the US allowed us to move past the long ticket lines and provided more time for sightseeing and shopping! A memorable European vacation!

Monique has been fantastic to work with over the past seven years. I was traveling out of the country two to three times per year on hunting trips, mostly to Africa and Central Asia. She has a good understanding of the needs of hunters carrying weapons and ammunition. After I started having her do my travel plans, the guns arrived with me 100% of the time. Prior to that, the hunt was usually over by the time they arrived. Monique starts looking for the best fare months ahead and has saved me lots of money over the years. On one trip alone, she saved about $2000. on a business class fare with Turkish Air by having me depart the USA from Los Angeles instead of Chicago. Arrival in Central Asia was the same either way. I can highly recommend her for arranging your next trip anywhere.

Easy- Peasy trip planning with Monique

Monique was very quick to respond back to my emails, which I thought was fantastic. She gave us different options of packages to choose from, in my budget. She is knowledgeable and I would definitely use her expertise again.

Everything I hoped for and more!

A different agent assisted with the planning and booking of our vacation, but Monique stepped in when the other agent went out on leave. She was very helpful and responsive, and offered great suggestions.

My 40th Birthday Trip

Monique has always been very helpful whenever we have needed her. We use her every time we are taking a big trip because we know she will get us the best and take away a lot of the work and worry of planning a big trip with multiple people.
